ASICS GEL-CONTEND 8 1011B492-403 Product Details The GEL-CONTEND™ 8 running shoes will provide excellent cushioning for runners who expect durability and support from their shoes. The upper of these shoes, made of a specially designed mesh, stretches with the natural movement of the foot and creates a perfect cut. Synthetic stitching on the overlays helps provide more support to the foot. In keeping with a more sustainable design approach, fewer resources were used to dye the insole of these shoes. Reliable cushioning will be provided by the GEL™ technology in the back of the shoe, a durable AMPLIFOAM™ midsole and an ORTHOLITE™ insole - all of this has been designed to provide you with greater comfort and excellent shock absorption. By following the natural movement of the foot, GUIDANCE LINE™ technology helps generate a more natural and uniform stride. In addition, flexible grooves in the tread increase the flexibility of the shoe while running, giving a feeling of a more natural stride from the moment the foot hits the ground until the foot strikes off the toes.
