Ride on the back of your favorite animal and launch into the race! In this edition of the classic potions and concoctions designed for the little ones at home, players will compete to be the first to reach the finish line in the most popular race in the beautiful city of Quedlinburg.
To do this, they must feed their mounts with the combination of food that allows them to move faster.
Designed by wolfgang warsch and illustrated by michael menzel, it allows games for 2 to 4 players, ages 6 and up, lasting about 25 minutes.
If you already know potions and concoctions, you will surely find many similarities with this completely independent version of the game, since both titles have in common that the players fill their own bag of chips to later obtain some of them randomly.
Before starting, an important decision must be made:
Which animal will take us to the finish line? After choosing between a donkey, a sheep, a pig or a cow, you must prepare your bag of provisions, with some food and branches of black poppy.
Throughout the game, players will take turns drawing a token from their bag.
If they draw a food token, they will advance as many spaces on the board as the number indicated on the token.
An action will then be triggered, indicated by the same color as the token.
Among these actions you can obtain rubies (which will allow you to buy more nutritious food) or more food.
On the other hand, if you take the black poppy token out of your bag.
