- The Alp Trainer 2 is a progressive mid-cut hiking shoe with a durable upper made of high-quality suede and stretchy material, and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that provides reliable protection for hikes over variable terrain and varied conditions. It has a large front rubber strip that provides additional protection against rocks and scree.
- Designed for comfort right out of the box, it allows a precise, supportive and wraparound fit. Our proprietary trademark 3F Steel Cable System provides strong ankle support and lateral stability, while the Flex Collar enhances rear ankle motion and comfort on descents. In addition, the configurable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF +) has interchangeable layers that allow further volume tuning. And the Climbing Lacing is adjustable all the way to the toes for better performance on technical sections.
